Welcome to Vuma Hills Tented Camp
Vuma Hills Tented Camp is perched above the trees stretching over the seemingly endless wilderness south west of Mikumi National Park.

Nestled in the forests of the Vuma Mountains that overlook the Mkata Plains of the Mikumi below, Vuma is a cool retreat from the heat of a day's game drive.

Activities & Safaris

The little-known Mikumi National Park is well stocked with big game, a wide variety of birds, all set in beautiful golden grasslands, against a backdrops of the Udzungwa and Uluguru Mountains.

  • Amazing stay at Vuma Hills

We had a wonderful 2 days stay at Vuma Hills. The staff was so nice and the food delicious! The location of the tents/site is great and it is such an experience sleeping in the nice tents while hearing the wildlife outside.

When to Visit

The best time for visiting is in the dry months between June to February. Vuma Hills Tented Camp remains open all year round, but access to some areas of the park may be limited during March to June, due to the rains.
